PACA Offering Field Testing Certification Examinations

The Pennsylvania Aggregates and Concrete Association (PACA) announced it is offering certification examinations for those interested in earning their American Concrete Institute (ACI) Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I certification. ACI-certified technicians are in high demand. Certification is awarded to candidates who can demonstrate the technical knowledge and ability to properly perform seven basic field tests on freshly mixed concrete.

“This certification program is important to our industry to ensure that testing is being performed consistently and correctly to industry standards,” said PACA Director of Certification & Sustainability Ken Crank. “When projects have ACI-certified technicians on the job site, it provides a level of confidence in the test results and improves quality control to ensure we’re building the best concrete structures in the world.”
